obert Sanders (1727–1783) was a Scottish hack writer based in London, best known for producing compilations, travel guides, and historical works under the pseudonym Nathaniel Spencer.

This substantial work provides a comprehensive guide to “whatever is curious and entertaining” throughout the several counties of England and Wales, as well as the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, and other islands adjoining and dependent upon the Crown of Great Britain.
