Churchill Ettinger (1903-1985) was born in Haworth, NJ on May 10, 1903. He studied at the National Academy of Design, the Art Students League and the New York School of Industrial Art. At one time Ettinger was portrait artist on the staff of the New York Sunday World and the Outlook Magazine. His etchings are amazingly detailed and accurate. His works have belong in the collections of Yale University, Iowa State College, William Rockhill Nelson Gallery of Art and the Honolulu Academy of Fine Arts,
